As in the previous years, this year we also renounce Christmas gifts and rather support a project which needs funds more urgently.

Our dsozial1onation goes to the Hope Community Center Project in the village of Kakindu in Uganda, Africa. With the help of this donation, a social community center with a primary school and later on even a hospital will be built.

During her international voluntary service, the daughter of our employee Torsten Gerlach is currently living in Uganda to help the local relief organization Reach Young People with their daily tasks. Via her, we have direct contact with the relief project and know that the donation will arrive 100%.

The Hope Community Center (HCC) is going to become a multipurpose facility for gatherings and community. They also want to construct a primary school, a clinic, as well as a freshwater fountain for the area and all village inhabitants. It is the HCC’s mission to give hope to the people there and to empower them to find their purpose in life. First, the primary school (classes 1-7) and then the „Leadership Academy“ will be constructed.

In April 2015, the organization received one hectare of land as a gift including the current school in the middle.

We, the ICP Solution, are sure that we can help the people in the small Ugandan village of Kakindu with our donation and especially make possible that the children can go to school.

Update from Kakindu:

On 3 January 2017 the construction of the school in Kakindu, Uganda started. Four classrooms for ca. 30-35 pupils will be built. ICP Solution is delighted that the donation could be used so quickly right at the destination. Soon, the first children will be able to go to class in their new school.

Second update from Kakindu:

The school life in Kakindu has started after the construction of the new building in 2017. The pupils and teachers are very proud of the premises for their daily classes because having a roof over one’s head does not come naturally in Uganda.

Our direct contact with the local project leader and the positive feedback on what has been achieved so far has prompted us, as ICP Solution, to donate another contribution this year, in order to further develop the construction of the school building and some outbuildings. The gratitude of the local people gives us a good feeling to support the right project with our contribution.

Third update from Kakindu:

As in the past years, we pass on our Christmas presents and support projects where financial resources are needed more urgently.

The first half of our donation goes to the Hope Community Center project in the village Kakindu in Uganda, Africa. With our financial support, a second building for a primary school is going to be built.

In the last year, our donation also went to the local charity Reach Young People Uganda, which is responsible for the construction, and we are pleased to announce that in the first completed construction phase, the first grade was able to graduate with a P7 degree this year. Pupils, teachers, and parents are very proud of what has been achieved so far.

“Mobile Hilfe Madagaskar”:

With the second half of our donation, we want to support the project “Mobile Hilfe Madagaskar” nearby the capital Antananarivo. The German Tanja Hock, who also received the reader’s award of the gala of the “Goldene Bild der Frau”, founded a midwife station in Madagascar, a country with unimaginable poverty. Here, our donation supports the construction of a much-needed hospital, as well as the operation of the existing midwife station and the implementation of further activities such as a kids club for the street children.
